Airtel Uganda has opened a new premium customer care center at the Forest mall, Lugogo. The function which was presided over by the Chairman of Board of Directors Airtel Uganda Mr. Chris Kasami, was attended by the Airtel Africa Managing Director Mr. Christian de Faria, the new Airtel Uganda Managing Director Mr. Tom Gutjahr, Airtel Uganda staff members and representatives from the Kampala business community.
As part of its efforts to enhance customer experience, Airtel Uganda has continued to launch premium shops and customer care centers countrywide with more openings to follow in the months to come.
The Airtel shops offer a bouquet of services and will see customers enjoy fast and convenient customer service with all their needs taken care of as quickly as possible in a welcoming and customer-friendly environment.
With various partnerships with Huawei, Nokia and Samsung, this guarantees that the shop will have exclusive products from these companies available.
This is the first gadgets only shop in the city.
Speaking at the opening, Airtel Uganda Managing Director Mr. Tom Gutjahr said that extending the Airtel network services signals a real stake in the ground for leadership in the telecommunications industry.
“It has been our endeavor to enhance the customer experience for our more than 7.2 million customers. Through our service centers found in central and accessible locations, convenient opening hours, and superior merchandise, we have an opportunity to give our customers the overall retail experience that Airtel has to offer. The launch of more shops around the country is a significant achievement for us and underlines the importance of engaging with our consumers on a daily basis,” Mr. Tom Gutjahr added.
