TUSKER PROJECT FAME SEASON SIX STREET BAND #TPF6

This year’s edition of Tusker Project fame returned to our screens on the 13th October 2013 with a revamped format as the best musical talent show from across East Africa. This competition shall see 18 contestants of which 4 are representing Uganda to battle it out for UGX 150,000,000 prize money and a recording contract with Universal records.

 We have so far seen a number of significant changes and it seems more surprises are yet to come. Tusker has officially launched the TPF6 promotion “watch and Win competition” by surprising their consumers and the public with Live Bands located around Kampala during the manic rush hours.

Two bands were placed at the Wampewo round about along Kampala road and the Kibuye roundabout during the morning and evening rush hour. For two hours the bands who were a mixture of various band members here in Kampala entertained drivers with soulful jams and of course the Tusker Project Fame theme song. Flyers on the Watch and Win promotion were handed out to let their consumers know about the new twist to engage and encourage more people to stay glued to the show.

 There shall be huge cash prizes which have been lined up to be won during this season six of Tusker project fame in what has been dubbed the “watch and Win competition”. Winners will be rewarded on a daily and weekly basis until the grand finale where the lucky person will bag a grand prize of 5 million Ugandan shillings.

 Here is how to participate:

1. Purchase a 500ml Tusker Lager.

2.  Look under the Crown for your 6 digit code

3. Watch Tusker Project Fame 6 to receive a 2 digit number

4. SMS the 2 digit code followed by the alpha numeric code to the number 8338 (Uganda only)

5. Cash prizes will be won by the first contestants to send their number correctly.

 In addition to this there shall be in-bar promotions at selected outlets nationwide where customers who buy two tuskers at a reduced price of 3000/= Ugandan shillings will stand a  chance to win branded merchandise or more beers.

 According to Harry Mwanje, Tusker Lager Brand Manager, Uganda, “It is against this background that we are rolling out the Tusker Watch and Win promotion to reward consumers with cash prizes to be won during each live show throughout season 6. We encourage people to drink responsibly and the competition is open to those 18 years and over. Tusker has in the past brought Ugandans exciting promotions and this is another one to keep the audience glued to their seats.”
